We haven't met one person who enjoys having their packages left at their doorstep. Fortunately, Volvo is on a mission to make it a thing of the past with its latest in-car delivery service.
The Swedish automaker recently partnered with Urb-it to make in-car deliveries possible. In short, a Volvo customer makes a purchase on their smartphone. Once the order has been received by an official Urb-it delivery person, they pick it up at the store and deliver it to the vehicle using a one-time digital access key. Once the package is inside the vehicle, it's then locked. Right now, the service is only available in Stockholm, Sweden. We will see it expand to several European cities later this year, and worldwide by 2025. Are you excited to leave the old days of delivery service behind you?
